A beautifully soft cashmere and wool blend overcoat, fully lined and lightweight, making it ideal for both winter and spring wear.
The brand Canda by C&A was active during the 1990s, and the company closed its UK stores in 2001. Although produced later, this coat is strongly inspired by 1960s minimalist design. Its clean, sculptural lines and distinctive fastening style are hallmarks of mid‑century Mod fashion.
The straight, slightly A‑line “H‑line” cut with dropped shoulders was a defining silhouette of the 1960s. The coat features fabric‑covered toggle or disc‑style buttons with cord loops, reinforcing its authentic vintage‑inspired aesthetic.
While C&A is a Dutch‑founded company, they maintained significant British manufacturing throughout the 1990s. This label reflects the tail end of their major UK production era.
