The front panels feature vertical "pointelle" or open-work geometric stitches, which were a popular way to add visual interest to simple cardigans in the 60s.

The cardigan was made by Emreco, a British womenswear brand founded in Glasgow in 1926. Emreco was well-known during this period for producing high-quality, wearable fashion for the "discerning woman," often utilizing premium materials like wool and mohair blends.

Trevira 2000 was a revolutionary branded polyester introduced in the late 1960s to replace the heavier "Crimplene". It was considered the "it" fabric for designers in the early 1970s because it was lightweight, held bright colors perfectly, and was practically indestructible.

There is a very small pull in the fabric on the front of the cardigan, as shown in the picture with my finger pointing to the location.

The manniquen in these picture is size S.
