Vintage 1970s Richard Stump Dress, size M
This lovely Richard Stump dress is an authentic piece from the late 1970s to early 1980s. Richard Stump was a prominent British manufacturing brand famous for producing mass-market, high-quality day dresses, often utilizing comfortable synthetic jersey blends that were incredibly popular for their wrinkle-resistant, wash-and-wear nature.
It features a striking all-over botanical bamboo leaf or willow branch graphic print in white over a deep navy blue background. The collar area features a keyhole or split v-neck detail, accented with delicate fabric ties at the throat. A classic, straightforward shift or column silhouette with short sleeves, designed to drape easily over the body without clinging too tightly.
The mannequin in these picture is size S so this dress will fit nicely size M (12). Please see my measurements below.
Shoulder to shoulder: 38cm
Pit to pit: 47cm
Shoulder to arm: 22cm
Waist: 43cm
