This is a sleeveless velvet-devoré (burnout velvet) tunic-style blouse, dating 1980s . 1990s. Beautiful eveningwear / Occasion wear.

Vintage brand infromation: Alexon was a long-standing British womenswear brand and later the name of a larger retail group, originally founded in 1929. Although it’s no longer active, it had an 85-year history that spanned major decades of British fashion. In 2012, the group was bought by Jacques Vert, another womenswear retailer targeting a similar mature market. After the takeover, the Alexon brand name was kept briefly but the new owners began consolidating and removing overlapping brands.
