Vintage Canda 1980s New Romantic Lace Blouse, Size L to XL

The lace-trimmed funnel neck (or mock neck) is a hallmark of the 80s "Victorian revival" style. The vertical pintuck pleats on the chest and the subtle gathering at the shoulders were popular techniques used to add volume and texture to formal blouses of that era.

The short, voluminous sleeves (often called balloon or mutton sleeves) reflect the decade's obsession with bold shoulder silhouettes.

There is a very small mark on front of the blouse, please see the picture pointing the mark.

The mannequin in these picture is size S, so it will best fir to size L to XL.

Vintage brand info: C&A was founded in 1841 by brothers Clemens and August Brenninkmeijer. While it withdrew from the UK market in 2001, it remains a major retailer across continental Europe. The Canda name has a long tradition within C&A, dating back decades. It was even used as a temporary brand name for their second London store in 1925 to avoid direct competition with their first nearby location.
