Very pretty vintage purple paisley print maxi or midi skirt, dating from the 1980s or 1990s. The vibrant colors and intricate pattern are characteristic of the psychedelic and bohemian styles popular during those eras, which often incorporated the traditional Persian "boteh" or "buta" motif. The fabric is 100% viscose.

Vintage Brand info: Alexon was a long-standing British womenswear brand and later the name of a larger retail group, originally founded in 1929. Although it’s no longer active, it had an 85-year history that spanned major decades of British fashion. In 2012, the group was bought by Jacques Vert, another womenswear retailer targeting a similar mature market.
